Have your say on the future of Philip Street
We are looking at possible changes to Philip Street as part of wider changes to the Whitehouse Street area, and we want your feedback on proposals.
Whitehouse Street has been identified as an area for growth, and from 2021 to 2023, we worked with local people to create the Whitehouse Street Regeneration Framework.
The Framework explains how the area will change and adapt to become a neighbourhood with about 2,000 homes.
An important part of this work is improving transport and encouraging more walking and cycling.
From 23 February to 23 March, we are running an online consultation to gather the views of local people, businesses, visitors and others who use Philip Street.
We are asking, should Philip Street be one-way from Whitehouse Lane to Bedminster Parade, or stay two-way between Bedminster Parade and Stillhouse Lane and what should happen to parking — remove all, remove some, or keep it as it is?
While there are no confirmed timescales for delivery at this stage, your feedback is important in shaping designs, and we would appreciate a few minutes of your time to complete the survey.
