Bedminster’s High Streets – Informing, shaping and delivering thriving places for all

In recognition of the changing nature of our high streets, Bristol City Council has been working with the High Streets Task Force and local organisations to produce a series of recommendations for the future of Bedminster’s high streets, with a particular focus on East Street.

Recommendations include more community ownership, better cycling and walking routes, more green spaces, a greater mix of shops with a focus on independents, and the establishment of a new ‘Community Investment District’.

On 6th June, we’re running two free workshops that are open to the public to explore the recommendations and figure out how we make them happen.
