Find out more about the Bedminster Heat Network

As part of their BS3 Beyond 2025 series, Action Greater Bedminster are hosting an event for residents and businesses to find out more about the Bedminster Heat Network.

Vattenfall, the heat network partner for Bristol City Leap, will be discussing the Bedminster Heat Network on Thursday 6 June from 7:00pm to 8:30pm at the Windmill Hill City Farm Café.

Bristol’s energy system will receive a significant investment of over £1 billion as a result of the partnership that will provide funding for the development and expansion of the city’s heat network.

In line with Bristol’s ambitious goals to tackle the climate emergency, Bedminster Green’s new homes will be connected to the city’s low-carbon District Heat Network, ensuring the homes are provided with a fairly- priced, reliable and low carbon source of heat.

Members of the Bedminster Heat Network project delivery team will be present to provide detailed information about the project’s scope, emphasising its significance in supporting Bristol City Council’s commitment to achieving carbon neutrality by 2030.

The session will also cover project updates on the temporary energy centre, the Bedminster Green crossing, and planned works to expand the network across Bedminster.
