Bedminster Works is hiring for two Programme Co-Leads
Bedminster Works (formerly known as the Bedminster Property Partnership) is looking for two people to join the Community Interest Company (CIC) as inaugural staff members. The two ‘co-leads’ will work together to share responsibility for the delivery of the National Lottery funded programme to deliver three community-owned buildings in Bedminster Town Centre, they will also share overall leadership but have their own individual focus, one on property and one on community stewardship. Further information on the roles and how to apply can be found on the Bedminster Works website.
The Bedminster Green Regeneration team have been working alongside Windmill Hill City Farm, Action Greater Bedminster, Ocean Estate Agents, Share Bristol and Bristol City Council to kick start the project.
Bedminster Works is one of five pilot ‘Local Property Partnerships’, funded by the National Lottery and supported by Platform Places to test a new partnership model for securing buildings for community use.
In sitting on the Local Property Partnership and working closely with community organisations, Bristol City Council hopes that the three-year trial will offer new ideas for how the council can support the development and stewardship of new and existing community buildings.
