Topping out ceremony for Plot 4, Bedminster Green

Dandara Living, the developer, recently topped out their 316 apartment scheme, Stafford Yard, on Dalby Avenue, which is part of the Bedminster Green regeneration project.

This commemorative event, which included signing concrete at the top of the highest building, signals that the concrete frame works are now complete and was a proud moment for everyone involved in delivering the project.

Featuring 295 build to rent apartments, resident amenities including, private balconies, roof terraces with vegetable beds, a gym, lounge, retail space as well as courtyard gardens, Stafford Yard will also deliver 21 affordable homes.

Stafford Yard is conveniently located near public transport links and an improved cycle lane network and is within walking distance to Bristol’s city centre and Bristol Temple Meads. The basement level contains 71 car parking spaces with 17 of these being DDA compliant. The main block will store 388 cycles across two store locations, the North block will store 31 cycles within a single location.

Roof terraces and vegetable beds will encourage biodiverse micro-climate habitats for invertebrates, in turn providing foraging resources for birds and bats. While the connection to the District Heat Network will provide low carbon heating generated off site.

Stafford Yard will support local businesses in Bedminster, particularly along East Street and Bedminster Parade, generating significant additional footfall by residents who will look to live, socialise and shop locally.
